Protection from Flooding

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee” (Isa 43:2).  Our hearts are full of praise to the Lord for graciously preserving the church and ministry through another storm.  As much as 21 inches of rain fell here in Pensacola on the night of April 29th, causing flooding and widespread damage.  Rising water stopped just short of the floor level of the residences behind the ministry building—leaving no significant damage.  Some members of the church were affected more seriously, with up to a foot of water in one house. No one in the church was injured, and we saw the Lord’s gracious protection in many ways during the storm and in the days following. Please pray for the suffering and loss in our city and for gospel opportunities at this time. Thank you for your prayers and support of Chapel Library.
